the moment when you stupidly realize.

when you stupidly realize.
{something i quick jotted down because its been on my head and heart for forever and a day.}

A eye wanders, so slightly to the right.
It see's an ever small block that's being stumbled upon, in the middle of a fight.
This mind begins to run, it begins to compare.
Before knowing it, it is judging someone else's life, and its not very fair.

Focused on the neighbor... these eyes fall of course,
they slowly head for a ditch that is evidently worse.
So focused on others wrongs doings, we never see our own.
Others are in a spiritual war, and all we can do is groan.

Is a life so worthless that we idle by?
Always throwing off rules until to others they apply?
We toss in the towel to those who don't fit mold,
when really its impossible to be as perfect as we are told.

Instead of judging on the outside of what things appear to be,
why don't we fixate on the inside, and help their hearts become free.
The individual battles we each face, direct us to some struggle.
Its the invisible cry's for help we miss, that will get us into trouble.

The heart was made to love and worship, but we all eventually loose direction,
its when others glimpse at our every imperfection, resulting in rejection.
Christ told us all to love one another,
That doesn't mean we can just pick and choose loving our closest brother.

What if no one could see, no one had eyes,
would we finally come to our senses and stupidly realize,
the way you wear your shirt, or wind up your hair,
none of it will give you a free pass into a heavenly chair.

Its strictly about the heart, but no one understands that,
were to busy being mean, and knocking each other flat.
How dare we label each other without knowing whats deeper within,
everyone chooses to assume, never looking further than the skin.

Every shallow heart still on their knees, and they still don't realize the depth.
Little do they understand...you cant just look the part, your heart will eventually shine through..
the question is, will they be focused on others sins, or on their own heart becoming true?
