Their Voices.

"If the whole world would stop and listen to anything you said, what would you tell them?"

This was a question posed in our 'Friday Class', a class designed for determining what your thinking and feeling, discussion, and projects to follow. We often begin each session with a story, that follows into some questions, a project and conclusion of discussion amongst the ladies. On this day, our topic was on being heard. Knowing that God gave you a voice, and it matters. We offered to share the lady's, "Letters to the People," to make their voices heard, a few of them agreed.
Out of respect, their names will be kept anonymous.

These are their voices.

Dear People:

I want you to not listen to what the world/society is saying; I want you to only listen to your heart and not listen to the world. Watch out for yourselves that you do not follow the world. Instead of following the world follow your heart.
I want your faith to always stay true in God and not in the world.
I always say: 'God is with us; Our safety is only in God, not in anything else.'
If we are injured, God is, also injured (sharing in our pain).
And when we are happy God is also happy. And when we weep God also weeps.
I want you to always follow your heart, not the world.

Dear People:

1. What ever bad situations you go through, trust God. He will show you the way. There is a speech that says, 'Humans say, show me God and I will trust you. But, God says, Trust me, and I will show you.'

2. Don't let anyone control you by their ideas or words. Make your decision and listen to your heart.

3. Be someone God wants. Don't be harmful, forceful, controlling, jealous, or selfish.

4. Be patient, and be simple with people. Don't be proud of yourself.

5. Always trust yourself. Don't be scared. If you fail just try again.

Dear People:

If I could talk to the world and tell them something I would tell them what my heart is feeling...
I desire what makes my heart happy. I desire that my loved ones who are still in ISIS captivity would return back to me.
I have seen much affliction and hardship.
If I could talk to my relatives I would tell them..
You aren't my relatives. Since I've returned from ISIS you have not acted towards me like real relatives do. Strangers have now become my relatives, (in your place).
If I could talk to the government here in Kurdistan I would ask them, "Do you not know that we have returned back from ISIS?" (As to say, 'do you not know our situations and needs, since it seems you do so little to help us find justice and help?')
If I had the opportunity to talk with Trump in America I would tell him, "I will MAKE you somehow to bring back our people who still in captivity."

Dear People:

If I had the opportunity to say something to the world I would pray for them that they would all learn to know the True Way and would not take the (wrong), crooked road.
My desire is that my loved ones who are in still in ISIS captivity would return back to me alive and well. I have seen much difficulty and affliction.
If I could talk to Trump I would ask him to help the Yezidis in a great way; and I would ask him to take us to live in a nice country where we Yezidis can happily live together as family.
I would ask all countries if they would be able to help us immigrate to a good country.
